Celebrating August 15

The Feast of the Assumption of Mary is always a day of celebration for the Ursulines of Prelate, since that is the date most of the Sisters made their vows. With COVID still holding sway, the celebration was a mix of zoom and in person gathering. In the morning the Sisters connected through zoom for prayer and congratulating the jubilarians: Sr. Aloysia Kosolofski on her 75th anniversary and Sr. Rosetta Reiniger and Sr. Gertrude Sopracolle on their sixtieth anniversary.

August 15th was a very hot day, 39 degrees Centigrade, so the planned barbeque was postponed one day. All who were able went to the generalate on the 16th to enjoy "direct" companionship and sharing.
