Renewal of Vows

On August 15th, the Sisters gathered at St. Angela Merici Residence to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption with the residents there. It is also the day that many of the Sisters made their vows. This year, Sr. Anne Lewans, Sr. Ludvina Scheck and Sr. Theresa Feist celebrated their 65th anniversary; Sr. Bernadette Feist and Sr. Mary Zerr celebrated their 60th.

The day started with Mass, in which the Sisters, led by Sr. Anne Lewans renewed their vows. Mass was followed by a delicious meal, accompanied by classical guitar music. Visiting was also on the agenda.
