Founding Day

487 years ago, on November 25, 1535, the Feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria, Angela Merici officially founded her Company of St. Ursula. Little did she know how far and wide her endeavor would spread. This day, there are Ursulines all over the world celebrating. The Ursulines of Bruno and Prelate gathered for a Zoom meeting, with 19 Sisters "attending". A 30-minute video was shown, which summarized the six stations of the Convocation Pilgrimage, held virtually this year during September/October. Sisters were invited to share what they liked about the short compilation of the pilgrimage and the Sisters who took part in the pilgrimage over the six weeks, were invited to share what had particularly touched them during that time.
