On June 6th, about 40 Sisters and Associates gathered for the 2026 Ursuline Associate Assembly, entitled "Living in Harmony". Ray Kolla was the MC. The day started with a prayer, led by Sr. Dianne Sehn and was followed by an ice breaker. Then Sr. Anne Lewans (Congregational Leader) reported on the happenings over the last two years since the last assembly. Raissa Bugyi, Executive Director of Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Saskatoon, joined her to speak on the Ursuline Heritage of Faith Fund, a legacy open to grant applications from all of Saskatchewan and becoming operational in September. Lunch was served afterwards.
The afternoon started with the Faith Cafe. The "Maître de" explained the process process and then "servers" joined the tables to facilitate questions about harmony, compassion and integrity.
After a break, Sr. Felicitas Drobig showed two PowerPoints, one about the early writings about St. Angela and one about Angela as shepherdess. Both were translations from the newsletter of the Federation of German-speaking Ursulines. A discussion about the two presentations and the day as a whole followed.
The group then went to Mass where three new associates were welcomed: Raissa Bugyi, Cheryl Cole and Heather Mandeville.
The day ended with supper.
