A Different Way to Celebrate

August 15th is the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, but it is also the day when most of the Ursulines of Prelate made their vows. This year, Sr. Dolores Schneider celebrated her 75th Anniversary and Sisters Anne Lewans, Theresa Feist and Ludvina Scheck celebrated their 60th.

Unfortunately, the pandemic made it impossible to gather in person so other ways had to be found. Thank goodness for technology: we held a prayer service via Zoom with every Sister of the community at least virtually present. Some glitches later we had had our prayer service followed by a turkey dinner for the residents at St. Angela Merici Residence - of, course, with proper social distancing...
