On January 10th, 2018, the congregation gathered for a meet and greet with the board of St. Angela Merici Residence Inc. Rick Riel, chair of the board, recalled and shared some of the history of St. Angela Merici Residence turning into St. Angela Merici Residence Inc.

As of January 1, 2018, St. Angela's is licensed as a private personal care home and will be accepting residents other than Sisters in the near future. A lot of work has gone into getting the license and Rick thanked the board and especially the administrative team of Theresa Winterhalt, Shannon Granger and Tina Claxton for their hard work in preparing the mountains of paperwork needed for this step.
