On the first Sunday of Advent, just as the first candle was lit on the advent wreath, the kitchen staff at St. Angela Merici Residence "lit" the first candle on the lunch vegetables. The saying, "the eye eats too" was true as everyone admired the carrot candles and the grape and cheese trees. Thanks to the kitchen staff for making that extra effort.
