From June 26th to June 30th Dr. Beverly Musgrave gave a retreat at St. Angela Merici Residence entitled "Trust the Depth of God's Presence." Dr. Musgrave, a Clinical Psychologist, Pastoral Counselor and Spiritual Director from Halifax spoke to heart and soul about aging and the spirituality of aging. She cleverly wove the journey of aging into well-known scripture passages, making us appreciate them in different ways. Have you ever thought of seeing yourself as the person left in the ditch in the story of the Good Samaritan?

Some of the topics covered were, "God Comes to us Disguised as Our Life"; "Living Our Unfinished Symphony"; "The Intersection of Loss and Meaning" and "The Creative Move into Aging."
